As a Leasing Consultant, you’ll be the friendly face of our communities — marketing available homes, guiding prospects smoothly through the application process, and creating a seamless (and exciting!) move-in experience for new residents. Position Details
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 9am-5:30pm (training hours will be Monday-Friday)
Location: Portland, Oregon
Pay: $19-23 per hour + commission + mileage reimbursement
Responsibilities
Conduct property tours and host open houses for prospective residents
Respond to inquiries, schedule showings, and follow up with prospects and applicants
Process rental applications and coordinate with third-party screening company
Communicate application status updates promptly to applicants and team members
Prepare lease agreements and facilitate smooth move-in appointments
Collect deposits and rent, complete move-in walkthroughs and Condition Reports
Update vacancy and prospect information in AppFolio
Maintain accurate guest cards and leasing records
Answer questions regarding rental criteria in strict compliance with Fair Housing laws
Participate in marketing efforts and team meetings to support occupancy goals
Provide professional, respectful customer service to residents and team members
Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Education and/or Experience
Applicants with related experience and/or training are preferred.
Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have a minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.
Must have working knowledge of Oregon Tenant Landlord Law as it pertains to apartment leasing and be able to consistently act in accordance with the law and with established company policies.
Candidates must be legally employable by a U. S. business.
This position requires a valid driver's license and automobile insurance, dependable vehicle and satisfactory driving record.
